Ryan Giggs Part II

Wow my idol scores twice in a year.

First was the Wales BBC Sports Personality of the year and now the BBC Personality of the Year. Hear how they boo him when he said he is playing for the best club in the world haha.

Ryan Giggs

I still remembered when I first start following Manchester United in 1991, Ryan Giggs caught my eyes and has been my favorite Man Utd player for many many years. Even till today, he is my favorite player together with Wayne Rooney. Not even Cantona, Beckham nor Ronaldo could change my loyalty towards Giggs.

Many thought I like this team because of all the good looking players but hell no, I like them because of the way they play, it has never been about looks.

Anyway I am glad I caught this piece of news about Giggs winning the Wales Sport Personality of the Year 2009. Enjoy this clip.

Time Not Enuf

For some Money's not enough but for me really time is short. Not that I want 48 hours to a day but then it just seems there are too many things to be done and too little time to do them.

I came back from a trip in Australia 2 months back and till now, I haven't sort out all the photos yet and posted them to my blog. And now, I am already busy planning for my next trip to UK...arrghhh and being someone who will love to have a roof above me when I sleep, it is really stressful finding accomodations in some cities that I am planning to go...and as days goes by, it gets more stressful as my airtickets are not confirmed and I cannot stand booking my accomodations and transport. Double argghhh.

On top of that, I really must put more focus on my blog business. Was talking about creating a group on FB but till now has not got down to doing it.

There are too many on top of that, I am having friends in town next week and together with 2 weddings on the same day (Of cos only attending one of them) and trips to be made to the bank to withdraw money for the angbaos.

Today is the 2nd day out of a 3 day break for us but time flies so fast and I can frankly say I have not achieved much. Blame it on the fact that I am such a bookworm that I cannot put a book down long enough to do other stuff.

But really and truly, I MUST start doing them soon. May the soon really be SOON.

Facebook Addict!

Oh no, I am an addict. According to a study, here's how you classified yourself as a FB addict.

You are a Facebook addict if...

1. You lose sleep over Facebook. When using Facebook becomes a compulsion and you spend entire nights logged on to the site, causing you to become tired the next day.

2. You spend more than an hour a day on Facebook. Lipari said it is difficult to define how much is too much when it comes to Facebook usage, but that an average person need only spend half an hour on the site.

3. You become obsessed with old loves or exes you reconnect with on Facebook.

4. You ignore work in favor of Facebook. This means you do not do your job in order to sneak time on Facebook.

5. The thought of getting off Facebook leaves you in cold sweat. If you try going a day without Facebook and it causes you stress and anxiety, this means you need help.

How about you?

Differences

Today I spent 4 hours commuting from east of the island to north to west and to central. It was a bloody hot day to be out running errands.

I was definitely in a rush though I wasn't walking much faster than usual and when I was walking from one block to another, I got blocked by kids everywhere (they think they are adults but definitely kids to me) and even by saying 'excuse me' doesn't get me a way through. That was just plain rude.

You could tell they were taking their own sweet time walking and talking while you are practically sprinting. Is that the difference between students and working adults? Time is spent leisurely for them while time is money to us and there is no time to waste?

While at the schools, I also noticed there were alot of foreigners studying in those schools that I used to attend. By foreigners I think friends would know which nationality I am referring to. The school 'uniforms' are definitely changing, the hemline is getting higher and the neckline definitely lower...I even see some in their sweats. Even hairstyles are longer and more colorful than during my time in school for sure.

The admin officer at the counter was also telling me kids these days are just plain rude, talking to them as though the admin officer owe them a living. Were we ever like that to our lecturers? School workers? I don't think so.

Kids these days simply don't understand karma, wait till they step into the real world and they know how tough life is. Enjoy it while it last, kiddos.

Too much

Have you ever tried to do many things at one time? I do, somehow I am just such a person. It is not that I cannot sit still, I can, I can just coop up at home the entire weekend doing nothing but read my books.

But lately, I just feel so drained because I feel I have too many projects, too many deadlines, too many items in my to do list. Am I too driven? No, I just 'want' too many things.

With too many wants come too many uncontentment since you will always want more even though I am not so greedy.

Sometimes with so many things to do just make me feel 24 hours a day is not enough and i go by with too little sleep and too much white hair on my head....I really need to sit back and start to focus on what's most important...sigh.

So tired

Since the beginning of this month, I have been busy entertaining friends from overseas over almost every weekend. And I feel so tired, add in the stress from work, my body feels crappy at times.

This is my last weekend at home, by this time next week I will be happily having my 2 weeks break Down Under. The problem is I have yet to start my packing and there are so much work stuff and personal stuff to do before the day comes when I can dump all my work where it belongs (i.e. work place) and just have the next 2 weeks to myself...both to enjoy myself and also to recuperate.

I need it, badly

Yummy food for the eyes

I will eat home everyday, anytime. Surely everyone has better appetite if their dining room views are like these. I will find all sort of occasions just to eat and enjoy the food in front of me and the food for my eyes.

Bed with a view

How nice it will be if you wake up everyday to an unblocked view and no neighbours who can stare into your bedroom? That's definitely a dream and a nice dream to make in bedrooms like theses.
