See what I mean?

See this? It is a floorplan of a potential house in Australia. It is drawn by none other than yours truly, me!

I don't even know I got it in me, I really can't draw well but thanks to technology, you can practically download a software and get help but of course, you have to provide the inspiration.

So, if I ever get the chance to own a piece of land and have extra cash on hand, I would built the above house, build to measure haha. There's a lot more ideas I have which I am going to design and keep it in case one day, I really do get the chance to build my own house.
If there are any house builders out there who will like to purchase the drawings from me, let me know!!

If only

If only I can turn back time, there will be many things I would have done compared to what I have done.
- I would have stay in Australia after graduating such that immigrating is no longer such a challenge
- I would have went ahead to purchase a house and not be scared of this and that
- I should have go into architecture or designing versus going into business studies
However as the saying goes, history is history, you can never take back what was done but can only look forward and do what you can in the future.

EPL

The EPL season is finally here again, unfortunately my favorite team is not playing until Monday night UK time meaning it will be in the middle of the night on Tuesday for me *sob sob*

Community Shield

Spent a couple of hours sitting in front of the tv watching the FA Community Shield Cup yesterday and YES YES YES, Man Utd won the Cup!!! Hope this is a good omen to having a great campaign in this year's EPL. Way to go my favorite team!
I quite like the idea of having Vidic as the captain and it was good to see Chicha in action for the first time for Man Utd on home territory. He is such a speedy runner and great at chasing balls and most of all he is so so cute. Looking forward to catching the EPL when it starts again in a week's time.

Cleaning Spree

I suppose you heard of shopping spree but have you heard of cleaning spree? Now you do!
Even though there have been a few less busy weekends, instead of going out I have been going on a cleaning spree, just can't get enough of the cleaning. Although it is just my room but let me tell you, I threw out so many paper and magazines as well as killing a few cockcroaches and the results are very satisfying.

After the cleaning, my back hurts so much from the bending over and mopping of the floor over and over again and while my cleaning spirit is high, I just want to go on and on and on. And this weekend, which is a long one, I spent a few hours 2 days in a row at IKEA buying lots of storage and organizing stuff..lots more cleaning to come!

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

A few weeks back, when walking to my exercise class in Tampines I saw this pinkish blue sky which was beautiful so I whipped out my handphone and while doing that, I heard some students shouting to their friends "Did you see the rainbow?". Huh? What rainbow? But when I turned my head the other direction, I saw the most wonderous looking rainbow against the beautiful sky I saw. The funny thing is rainbow usually comes about after the rain but it was only starting to drizzle when I caught this sight. It starts me wondering if there is a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow...sigh. Anyhow it also brings me to think of this lovely song called "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", I like this version by Matthew Morrison on Glee! It was performed on the last episode of Season 1, love the episode.

Enjoy!

Indonesian who lost all in casino at Resorts World Sentosa, stole at airport
SINGAPORE: An Indonesian man who lost all the S$1,000 he had with him at the Resorts World Sentosa casino was jailed for four weeks after pleading guilty to stealing a handphone from an undergraduate at Changi Airport.

The unemployed Indonesian, Paulus Djohar, stole the S$500 handphone from Ms Lim Tse Min at Terminal 1 on Tuesday.

He had intended to get some cash from the sale of the handphone.

The court heard Djohar came to Singapore from Malaysia last Tuesday with the intention of patronising the newly—opened casino at Sentosa.

As he lost all his money gambling at the casino on Monday, the second day of its opening, he decided to steal from passengers at Changi Airport.

Djohar went to the airport early Tuesday morning.

He then approached Ms Lim, who was with a group sending off a friend going to Australia to study.

One of them saw Djohar brushed his hands across Ms Lim’s backpack and walked away quickly.

The witness alerted Ms Lim who discovered her handphone missing from the side pocket of her backpack.

Ms Lim and the witness confronted Djohar and filed a police report"
